2019 Super Cascadian

Bright, ripe, rich red wine. The Super Cascadian is a nod to the traditional art of wine blending. This wine combines the best from both the east and west sides of the Cascade mountain range. Drink it soon, with friends, near a campfire, and hopefully a view of the mountains, celebrating the best of the Pacific Northwest.

TASTING NOTES – JANUARY 2023
Very focused aromas of black pepper, black tea, cranberry, cherry, graham cracker, and vanilla. Bright cherry, sandalwood, fruit preserves, black tea and baking spice from oak on the palate.

VINEYARD INFORMATION:

• AVAs: 54% Columbia Valley, 46% Willamette Valley

WINEMAKING INFORMATION:

• 46% Pinot Noir, 23% Petit Verdot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon
• Fermentation: 15% extended maceration, 15% [Submerged Cap Fermentation]
• Aged in French oak barrels
• 15% new French oak
