Pronounced ver-ray-zon, this is the viticultiral term we use for when our grape berries grow and begin to ripen. They change from their bright green to a deep purple. Acid levels fall, sugars rise, and we get excited! We know that this means harvest is right around the corner.

We celebrate this transition of our vineyard every year with our Veraison Dinner in Portland. On Sunday, August 16th, join us on the lower terrace for our annual pig roast! Our culinary team is rolling out delicious new seasonal dishes that will pair perfectly with library pours. It’s our biggest summer wine club event, don’t miss it! Tickets can be purchased through our reservation site.

If you’re in Bend, we’re celebrating the abundance of harvest at our Supper Session Tuesday August 18! In partnership with Rainshadow Organics farm, we’re giving our Bend community a true farm-to-table experience. We still have tables left to reserve during our 7 pm seating, so head to our reservation site and celebrate with us!

One last chance to taste the future. Next Tuesday is our final Barrel Tasting of the year, and we’re closing out the season with a special evening featuring Hirschy Vineyard, one of our valued vineyard partners in the Willamette Valley.

Join our production team inside the winery as you taste wines straight from the barrel, learn about the vineyard, explore how each wine is developing, and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask the people making the wine. It’s one of the most unique and educational experiences we offer—and one of our Wine Club members’ favorite traditions.

Even better? Members are welcome to bring guests and share this behind-the-scenes experience with friends and family.

If you haven’t reserved your spot yet, now’s the time. Let’s make the final Barrel Tasting of the season one to remember!
