2022 Super Cascadian

Bright, ripe, rich red wine. The Super Cascadian is a nod to the traditional art of wine blending. The wine combines the best from both east and west sides of a mountain range. Drink it soon, with friends, near a campfire, and hopefully a view of the mountains, celebrating the best of the Pacific Northwest.

TASTING NOTES AS OF MARCH, 2024:

Aromas of bramble, black pepper, tart cherry, raisin and dark chocolate. On the palate flavors of marionberry, brownie, bright acidity, and staining color.

VINEYARD INFORMATION:

• AVAs: 47% Willamette Valley, 46% Columbia Valley, 7% Columbia Gorge

WINEMAKING INFORMATION:

• Blend: 47% Pinot Noir, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 12% Malbec, 7% Syrah, 2% Petit Verdot
• Aged in 8% new French oak and 3% new American oak
• Elevage: 10 months
