Hirschy vineyard is located in the heart of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The aspect, elevation, and soils of this site lead to dark-fruited and well-structured wines. This vintage gave us the opportunity to ferment with 50% whole clusters and an extended cold soak, resulting in an intense, powerful Pinot Noir. The aromas are of black cherry, raspberry, anise, and pie spices. The palate leads with cola, cherry, vanilla bean, and blackberry, and finishes with concentrated and fine-grained tannins.
