2020 Rosé of Grenache ‘Rogue Stones’
51Weeks Winemaking
Rogue Valley AVA
As we have gotten to know this vineyard site over the years, we refer to this block of Grenache as ‘Rogue Stones.’ The vines struggle in soil comprised of well-worn river rock located a short distance from the current route of the Rogue River, just 20 miles north of the California-Oregon border. Whole-cluster pressed rosé of Grenache from this beautiful site results in a wine with aromatics of flint, strawberry, and grapefruit. Fermented in a stainless-steel tank, this intentionally dry style of rosé has the structure to hold up to your favorite grilled foods. 120 cases produced.
