Stark Vineyard is a family-owned and carefully tended vineyard on the south-facing side of the Chehalem Mountains AVA. We used an oxidative juice handling process, which leads to wines that develop slower and age nicely in the bottle. Fermented in French Oak Barrels and aged sur lie for 10 months, we barrel-selected the best for this cuvée. Our ripest selection of Chardonnay, yet it still has the acidity to pair with a broad range of foods.
TASTING NOTES AS OF SEPTEMBER, 2023:
Aromas of pineapple, baked red apple, vanilla, nectarine, and graphite with flavors of caramel, lime zest, grilled pineapple, and pie spice.

- Soil: Laurelwood, Delena, Jory, Saum
- Clonal Blend: 95 and 76
- Elevation 315-370 ft
- Southeast facing
- Hand harvested on September 13, 2021

- Whole cluster pressed
- Aged in French oak barrels for 16 months
- 30% new French oak
