2021 Syrah
51WEEKS WINEMAKING
Columbia Gorge, Oregon
The high elevation wind-swept, late-ripening vineyards in the Columbia Gorge AVA results in concentrated, thick-skinned Syrah. This wine was destemmed and fermented in small lots, with extended barrel aging. Enjoy this wine with Rhône-inspired food, black truffles, friends, and family.
TASTING NOTES AS OF SEPTEMBER, 2023:
Aromas of violet, raisin, eucalyptus, plum, and black licorice. The structure starts softly, but finishes with bright acidity and fine tannins. Flavors of bacon, black berry, meat char, and toasted hazelnut.
