2019 CHARDONNAY

Old vines located on the southern end of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA with wide-spaced rows recall another era of Oregon viticulture. This spacing allows a cooling coastal breeze to flow through the vineyard for a long growing season. Whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented, it is an excellent example of a balanced style of Chardonnay. Aromas of honeycomb, lime zest, pear, and brioche carry onto the flavors of citrus and caramel apple.
